Japan

Japan is a small place with a big population it has 126,799,215 people. Japan is known for  traditional arts, including tea ceremonies, calligraphy and flower arranging. this is the types of food that they make at a foods place and they also like rice and there can buy them at the markets cause in japan there is a lot of markets around it and they pack there food in plastic bags at the markets and at the supermarkets they have them in little bags. japan eat there food with chop sticks not knifes or forks and they might have a place called sushi train and that is when they have sushi going around in a circle or an ovule and they would put it on the train and you could just get what you like and it would come with a check on it so you can see how much it is and they make lots of different types of sushi.There is different types of rice there is brown rice, long grained rice, short grained rice, white rice and jasmine rice. Rice can be grown anywhere even on a steep hill or mountain  

in Egypt technology people made clocks and they look like this and the Egypt name for them was sun diles

Right-hand Grip rule Demonstration part A

we know that wires carrying currents produce magnetic fields, but now we need to determine the direction of the field

AIM: To determine the shape and direction of a magnetic field that forms around a current-carrying wire.

Method:1. your teacher will set up the wire carrying a current so that it travels vertically, and through a platform, as shown in the diagram below

             2. they will then sprinkle iron filings on the platform near the wire.

             3. after turning the power supply on your teacher will tap the platform to allow the iron filings to move.

Conclusion: outline what this demonstration taught you about the shape of magnetic fields that form around wires carrying a current.

we put two wires and connected it to the power supply and we put iron filings on some board and when we turned it on the iron filings followed the magnetic flow. the nail was carrying the magnetic field around it then the iron fillings showed the magnetic field.

Part B

Method:1. Your teacher will replace the iron fillings with a number of small compasses that form a circle around the wire.

2. Note the direction that the compasses are pointing.

3. Ensuring the current is flowing upwards through the platform, your teacher will turn on the power supply.

4. Now note the direction that the compasses are pointing.

5. With the power supply changed so the current flows downwards through the platform, note the direction the compasses are pointing 

Conclusion: Outline what this demonstration taught you about the direction of magnetic fields that form around current-carrying wires.

When the magnetic field is being pulled around the nail and then you get the compass the compass will be pulled to that magnetic field and the compass will follow the magnetic field

metal work/drill gauge

In metal, we made a drill gauge the one the left is the commercial one and the one on the right is what the outcome was when we finished.                                               

 With the tools in the photo, we used them for marking out. we used the ruler to make sure the dill gauge was at the right length what was 110mm, we used the engineer square to make sure the top of the drill gauge was falt when we were filing down to 110mm if it wasn't falt you would see a gab and then you could tell what side of the drill gauge to file. The micrometer is to measure how big or small the drill is this video will show you how to measure https://youtu.be/2-cm_ocn9p4. the very small thing tool is a double-ended scriber when you use it you put engineering ink on it and make a line where to cut it. the one at the top is called a spring divider that is to help you put a half circle of the top or your work or just to make a circle.

these drills are the ones that we used to drill the hole they are called HSS{high speed steal} and we learned about speeds and why using them cause if you don't get the right speeds and feeds you could damage your work or the drill. larger diameter drill bits do require to have a slower speed to avoid cutting or burning. if you go to this youtube video it will show you how speeds and feeds work https://youtu.be/zzzIpC39WUg

with these tools that we have the small one is called a countersink which it used to help you with drilling cause you have your drill gauge on a metal table you use the hammer to hammer the top part which is the flat side and then when you do that it put a little hole in it so the tip of the drill is easier to line it up where you want to drill the hole.
